As a nice change of events Colorado received a spring storm that layed down 13 inches of fresh snow on Breckenridge overnight. The snow was a little heavier than is typical for Colorado, but still made for awesome conditions to try out the Burton Custom in some powder. The Custom is a directional snowboard with a twin flex and no taper; it features a 12mm setback stance as well as a slightly longer nose than tail outside of the contact points. These two features help to drop the tail in powder and offer more performance, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of float that the Burton Custom has to offer in these conditions. Since it has a twin flex and no taper this board can also be ridden as a twin and feel exactly like a true twin on groomed snow. Because of these features I think the Custom is a classic go-to choice for all-mountain performance. Let us know any questions you have in the comments below, thanks for watching.
