Description:
The 11th installment of our Morton Buildings Team Spotlight video series features the World of Outlaws officials team that makes it all happen at the track!
The race officials team has seen many new names and faces over the years, but the job they each do on the track helps keep the show moving and the drivers safe. Tyler Bachman has been a staple on the Outlaws tour as the Safety Director and turn 4 official since 2007, handling safety equipment and leading original start/restart calls on track. Erik Grigsby joined at the beginning of 2018 in the Race Director position, making decisions from above on the track radio and Raceiver communication systems as well as conducting the drivers meetings.
Jeff Olson has been at the controls of the Timing & Scoring data system since 2013, operating the electronic transponder system, tallying points, results and even contingency awards. Casey Shuman is the newest addition to the officials team, joining up at the beginning of this year as the Series Director, making big-picture decisions for the Series including schedules, rules and front-office decisions. Together, these four hard-working individuals combine their talents to keep the integrity and fairness of the competition strong!
It takes a team to get the job done right. #BuildMorton
