The Hopkins Fire. Because of high winds we get in the afternoon it quickly got out of hand. Burned some of these structures then jumped the road to continue its path of destruction up marina drive area. I was headed home from my daughters b'day party when I noticed big cloud of smoke about 1.5 miles from home. Saw neighbors and first responders head that way..I tagged along since I figured they would need assistance with the animal shelter in redwood valley. Boy was I wrong.
