Description: produced by http://VintagePowerSport.com NCMP Vintage Karting event held June 2010. This is the 2nd heat race in C-Open Sidewinder. These are the fastest & most powerful Sprint Karts ever raced in the USA, nothing in modern Sprint Karting approaches this power. Competitors run dual rotary valve 2-stroke engines ranging from 135 to 150cc each, and up to 90hp total. Most are running dual IAME B-Bombs or BM-130 engines that were produced mostly back in the 1970's. Kart Chassis' are usually Margay ProX, Margay Expert, or Invader Duals. Only highly experienced drivers are allowed to drive these karts. Regular participants in this class include notable names from NASCAR, Indy, and karting's past like: Lake Speed, Terry Traeder, Troy Brown, Jeff Brown, Butch Stewart ... This is Helmet Cam video on-board Jeff Campbell's Margay Expert with dual BM-130 rotary valve motors, the clutches start to fail on the 2nd race lap, providing a nice rear view of all the class competitors as they roll by one by one!
